ENECRETE DuraFill and ENECLAD Self Priming Screed (SPS) Salvage Critical Loading Dock Ramp

This loading dock repair project at a cancer research center located in the Pacific Northwest required 3 weekends to complete since the ramp was not able to be shut down during the week.

Weekend 1:  The damaged concrete was removed.  12 inches of ENECRETE DuraFill + sand and pea gravel was poured to rebuild the damaged areas plus a 2 inch thick topping slab was also rebuilt.  Once complete, plywood was anchored over the repaired areas so that the ramp could be utilized over the course of the week.

Weekend 2:  A broadcast floor system was applied utilizing quartz sand and ENECLAD SPS since it cures in 36 hours at 59° F.  The ramp was then opened for traffic for the week.

Weekend 3:  The broadcast areas were cleaned and prepared before a second broadcast application of ENECLAD SPS was completed. The ramp was opened for traffic after it was cured.

Conventional concrete repair would have necessitated losing the ramp to traffic for 28 days which was completely unacceptable to the facility's engineers.
