Repair of Pressure Equipment and Piping (ASME PCC-2-2018)

ENECON DuraWrap has passed the test referenced above which is a specific requirement by a number of organizations such as power stations, pulp and paper mills, refineries, wastewater treatment facilities, natural gas, and LPG distribution operations, etc.

This is a test to determine if our DuraWrap can be used to repair pressure equipment and piping in high-pressure situations.

The test protocol requirement stipulated that ENECON DuraWrap can be used to repair a compromised pipe at 3,167 psi. ENECON DuraWrap meets and exceeds that requirement.

Based on the repair system material testing and short-term spool survival testing, ENECON’s DuraWrap Repair System meets the minimum requirements set forth in Mandatory Appendix 401-II of ASME PCC-2-2018 (2018 edition) Article 401, Nonmetallic Composite Repair Systems: High-Risk Applications.
