Shower Stall Protection and Repair
Shower stalls present a serious maintenance problem.
In hospitals and hotels, rooms cannot be occupied if the bathrooms are not operational. In hospitals, this means reduced patient care; in hotels lost revenue. Schools, Universities and commercial buildings also have these problems.
The problems are many:
- Cracked and leaking terrazzo pans
- Factory coatings degraded
- Degraded grout/tiles allowing leaks
- Need to improved anti-slip surfacing
The typical replacement process involves demolition, removal and replacement of the pan and tiles. This time consuming (several days), noisy and takes the entire bathroom [and associated bedroom] out of any service during the entire process.
